Hannah qualified as a social worker in 1998 and began working in Manchester Youth Justice before moving to Salford YOT when Youth Offending Teams were first established. She then went on to work in Grimsby and Lincoln before becoming a Team Manager at Liverpool YOS in 2005. She has managed teams within the city for ISSP, court and then the Reducing Custody Team dealing with high risk offenders on custodial sentences and bail/remand. She also spent 18 months seconded to HMI Probation as a practice assessor. In 2014 she became Head of Targeted Services for Young People for the City Council. In addition to being on the Board of the AYM she also chairs Core Cities YOT Managers.
