Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service work with children aged 10-18 either involved in, or at risk of, offending or anti-social behaviour. The service provides support to children, their families, victims and communities through promoting a strength-based approach, enhancing the safety of children, families and victims and supporting opportunities for them to achieve positive futures.
We are looking to develop our Harmful Sexual Behaviour (hsb) work and we are looking for an experienced practitioner to lead on the developments in this area of work. This is a brand-new post which combines developmental and operational work at a senior social work level. You will provide support, guidance and consultation to staff and partners as well as having a small caseload.
This is therefore this is an exciting opportunity to help to shape and develop the hsb work within the CYJS and the wider prevention and diversion services and a chance to make a real difference to children and families.

experienced and skilled in hsb work

The main office base is in Preston however, the service is countywide so there will be expectation to travel to meet service need. There are office bases located across the County.
