Business Manager – Cheshire Youth Justice Service

Location: Widnes, Winsford, Crewe

Salary: Grade 8 (£32,798 – £36,371)

Position Type: FullTime

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: 24th June 2022

We are seeking to recruit a motivated Youth Justice Services Business Manager to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis.

The role
The post will provide a high quality financial accounting service to the Youth Justice Services (YJS) Management Board, Head of Service,Youth Justice Board and partner agencies as well as managing the provision of a high quality and professional business support service to YJS Managers, Practitioners and Service Users.

YJS works across the local authorities of Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Halton and Warrington, the post holder could be expected to travel to and work out of various locations across this area.

Skills and abilities
The successful candidate will need to be full/part accountancy qualified (AAT, CIPFA) or equivalent or have significant experience working in an accountancy environment. Good business support experience, a sound academic background and high level organisational and ICT skills.

You will need to demonstrate high level communication skills and be able to deal sensitively with confidential information and enquiries
