We are looking for a skilled and talented manager to lead our Youth Justice Service, Safer Options (Extra Familial Harm/Serious violence prevention) and Safer Communities teams in our diverse and vibrant city. This is a new role within our Early Help & Targeted Services with a strong emphasis on partnership working to lead our youth justice service and extra familial harm/youth violence prevention and response and our Safer Communities work. You will have leadership experience in the field of youth justice and/or community safety and serious violence prevention including multi-agency partnerships and teams. You’ll work closely with the Head of Service and your established teams to lead on the promotion and understanding of the Council’s statutory responsibilities regarding Youth Justice, Community Safety and reducing Anti-social behaviour. You will lead a learning culture in the service and the adoption of evidenced based research and practice including child first, strength based trauma informed and contextual safeguarding approaches through implementation of the Bristol Practice Model.
