Biography

John was Chief Executive of the Youth Justice Board from 2009-2013. He is the first non-YOT Manager to be made an Honorary Life Member of the AYM in recognition of his support of the AYM whilst working for the YJB.

In 2013, John was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to youth justice. His award is well deserved.
