Aspiring Future Leaders Programme
The AYM in partnership with Solace has for many years delivered a highly regarded leadership development programme for future leaders in Youth Justice. This ILM Level 5 endorsed programme is designed to support ambitious managers to step confidently into more senior leadership roles, building the skills, insight and presence needed to lead in a complex and evolving system.

This programme is aimed at managers working in Youth Justice Teams and is particularly valuable for those:

- Wanting to build confidence, clarity and leadership impact
- Honing their leadership skills in people management, strategy, change, collaboration, performance and coaching

Programme Fees
- AYM Members: £1,750
- Non-members: £1,925
ILM Level 5 Qualification (Optional)
Participants can undertake the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management alongside the programme. This provides formal recognition of your leadership development and can significantly strengthen your progression to more senior roles.
- Additional cost: £900 + VAT
- Delivered and accredited through Solace
- A value for money opportunity to attain an internationally recognised leadership qualification.
Programme Lead
The programme is led by Averil Price, Associate with Solace, who brings over 30 years of local government experience, including 20 years at Director and Deputy Chief Executive level.
